Become a Communicator Sponsor
Today over 28,000 readers have subscribed to the Communicator e-newsletter
and the number continues to grow. These subscribers look forward
to receiving the e-newsletter every month. Each Communicator is
packed with valuable resources and information about any changes
to the other five sites in The Dirksen Center's Web suite, share
classroom uses of the information posted on them, and highlight
any Center related accomplishments.
Now you can sponsor a Communicator publication, reaching
a broad audience. Communicator provides you, the sponsor,
with a targeted readership. Communicator readers will
see your announcement each month, providing both a branding and
a direct link to your site.
To sponsor a Communicator publication, please contact Cindy
Koeppel. The Center will evaluate all sponsorship proposals
and reserves the right to decline a sponsor request. The amount
of the sponsor's investment will be determined on a case-by-case
basis.

with others who share the same interests and ideas through
Yahoo! Groups.
The Center invites you to join our e-mail group AboutCongressFor
Teachers. This e-mail group is a forum for teachers of government,
civics, and history to exchange ideas, concerns, and observations
about American politics and current events. You can explore and
discuss new ways to learn about Congress, how it works, its Constitutional
underpinnings, its leaders and members, and the public policies
it produces. You can also learn how other educators use The Center's
Web suite as a tool for communication, information management,
and Internet exploration about Congress and its role in the American
democratic process. You may want to contribute instructional
resources or suggest lesson plans to include in the CongressLink lesson
plan library, share successful student activities, and provide
links to related Web sites annotated for instructional value,
and much more.
